Mental health: Turn to Me was initiated by Isaak Ah Mau, Petero Civoniceva and Steve Johnson. The round is also supported by the fundraising efforts of Swich On Inc each year.

What does the donation go towards?

The QRL Turn to Me Round highlights the challenges associated with mental health and wellbeing, and reinforces the importance of mateship during the off season, encouraging the game's participants to reach out to a coach, player or mate if they need help.

We’ve proudly supported the initiative for a number of years as part of our broader charter of supporting men’s health initiatives. This year, Swich On Inc donated $8000 to support the Turn to Me round.

How were the funds raised?

Each year, Swich On Inc hosts a sportsman’s luncheon (or dinner) with high profile guest speakers. This marquee event has grown into one of our organisations most successful events thanks to the efforts of the late Grant Lowe, who held various roles in Swich On Inc for nearly 10 years and grew the event into the success it is today.

Our 2021 event supported this initiative and Ipswich Hospice Care.

Swich On Inc. was established in November 2011 by a number of local Ipswich businessmen. We’re an incorporated association with the primary objectives of promoting awareness of men’s health issues and raising funds for men’s health causes within our region.
