Swich On Inc recently caught up with the team from Rosies Ipswich to hand over a $5000 donation which was raised at a recent fundraising event.

The Sportsman’s Evening was a great success and the first event Swich On Inc has been able to hold since COVID 19 Restrictions have eased. Event organiser, Grant Lowe said it was a positive way to finish a challenging year.

“The event sold out very quickly and we were fortunate that restrictions had eased in time for the event to proceed”.

“The outcome is fantastic and we’re pleased to be able to donate funding to a very worthy local cause’

As always it wouldn’t be possible without our supporters and sponsors, with the event headline sponsor All Access Hire stepping up early to help secure the event and enable planning in a short time frame.

Barry Rienecker said the funding will go a long way to continue outreach programs and other logistical support.

“The funds will be put to work very quickly, providing a new hot water urn, vehicle maintenance and other costs to enable our volunteers to do what they do best”

Swich On Inc. was established in November 2011 by a number of local Ipswich businessmen. We’re an incorporated association with the primary objectives of promoting awareness of men’s health issues and raising funds for men’s health causes within the Ipswich region.
